Hollie has worked for the University of Exeter for over five years as an Impact Development Partnership Manager, helping connect businesses and academics in addition to brokering relationships, facilitating discussions and helping to build lasting partnerships.
Since starting at the University of Exeter in 2017, she has worked with over 200 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Cornwall on business planning, innovation processes and circular economy challenges. In early 2022 Hollie has been working with the SETsquared team to launch a programme in Cornwall, currently on its third cohort of start-up businesses and taking space in the Tremough Innovation Centre, Penryn.
Hollie’s additional interests are in supporting the emerging fashion and textile businesses in Cornwall, building on academic research to help develop sustainable and circular economy-led practices and support for start-up and larger businesses.
