Based out of Cardiff University’s SBARC centre, the home of Cardiff Innovations, Bipsync’s UK division has raised £5,000 to support The Trussell Trust in delivering food assistance to those in need.

Bipsync provides a research management platform to maximize the productivity of professional investors. Founded in Silicon Valley in 2013 by experienced investors and software developers, the company uses modern technologies and user-centred design to speed up data capture, automate research maintenance and identify insights that drive better decisions for investors and funds.

In 2021, the software developer announced that it would be partnering with The Trussell Trust over the course of the next two years. The ongoing cost-of-living crisis lit a flame amongst the team who vowed to raise £5,000 to support the local community around them.

As part of its efforts, the Cardiff team worked through 3,100 push-ups, quizzes with other Cardiff Innovations members, and it’s very own online marketplace, Bipbay. In addition to fundraising, its UK headquarters collected non-perishable food donations from employees and visitors, an effort which is set to continue beyond the end of this partnership.

Speaking on the fundraising achievement, a spokesperson for Bipsync said, “Bipsync is all about making a positive impact. Just as our modern RMS was created to save investment professionals time and energy by streamlining workflows, we strive to make a similar difference outside of the workplace. We’ll always use our influence and resources to give back to our communities, and we’re eternally grateful to charities like The Trussell Trust that help us do just that.”
