getUBetter is a digital self-management platform for back pain and other minor injuries. It helps patients trust their own recovery by allowing them to assess their condition and connect to their healthcare providers, local treatment and advice whilst supporting their complete recovery cycle including: injury, recovery, prevention, wellness and re-injury episodes. As a result, they consume less healthcare resource.

The platform provides a mechanism for Clinical Commissioning Groups and Occupational Health Providers to tackle this burden and meet their obligations in the ‘10 year plan’ to help patients self-manage and deliver the ‘triple aim’ of improving outcomes, patient experience and reducing cost for patients with back pain and other minor injuries.

Key to addressing the growing burden of musculoskeletal (MSK) pain is the way a healthcare provider implements its evidence based MSK clinical pathways. getUBetter connects patients to their local MSK pathways ensuring they trust their recovery and get the right advice and treatment at the right time.

getUBetter currently supports patients in managing Lower Back Pain. Through SBRI funding, getUBetter will create a scalable, flexible platform (GAP2.0) supporting multiple customisable MSK pathways for multiple Healthcare Providers.
