Mapyx is a Geographical Solutions Company and was initially solely involved in providing mapping solutions to walkers and hikers, but subsequently in developed Search & Rescue Management Solutions which is in use with Police Forces, Mountain Rescue, Lowland Rescue, Fire Services and the MOD. Further demand led to the development of a specific Police package for both missing person search and counter terrorist planning and management. The products were developed in conjunction with serving Police Officers to provide an effective solution to modern day search objectives. The suite of products now includes: • MX Sarman for Missing Person Search Management. • MX Response bespoke software for Police Missing Person Search Management. • MC CCT for Crime & Counter Terrorism Defensive Planning & Management. •MX PolSA incorporating all the above solutions. • MX Tracker for asset tracking. All solutions are now available in multi-user versions which permits the sharing of incident data over multiple computers at different locations. The above solutions are now widely in use with multiple Police Forces and have been used on some of the largest and most complex searches in recent years, including CT Defensive work, Misper Search, murder enquiries, incident plotting and crime analysis.
