Rainsense

Rainsense’s solution is based on an innovative patent (pending) that enables rainwater capture to be carried out without the use of ground holding tanks, pumps, with minimal maintenance. The product can be applied to the retro-fit market and requires no external space. The company is in discussions with the Centre for Water Studies Unit at the University of Exeter with a view to carrying out proof of concept trials and to determine the efficiency of the units, based on rainfall data and roof shape. It is also in discussions with a number of corporate companies in the sector about commercializing the product.
