YoUrban Innovations Ltd

Active from January 2018, YoUrban is part smart city consultancy and part tech start-up. We feel both complement one another; the consultancy keeping our market knowledge fresh which informs our research and development projects that in turn keep our knowledge of new technologies at the forefront.

Our people:
Co-founder & CEO – Luke Loveridge is a former smart city programme manager at Bristol City Council where he secured a £33m pipeline of technology projects. He is a Member of the ODI, and a Winston Churchill and RSA Fellow. Luke holds an MSc in Leadership and Management from Warwick Business School.

Co-founder & CTO – Silviu Nistor was previously a research engineer at Toshiba Research Labs Europe on communication and energy projects worth nearly £13 million. He has a PhD Electrical Engineering from Cardiff University and is a member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society.

Co-founder and CPO: Adam Drake was a robotics/A.I. team leader at Babcock Defence Systems Technology. At Babcock he oversaw​ the​ ​hardware​ and software integration phase of a £5m NATO project. Adam has a BEng in Robotics from UWE and is a member of Institute​ of​ Engineering​ ​and Technology and the British Computer Society.
