Ian Smith
Ian Smith is the Head of UKTIN. He has over 30 years in telecoms, with hands-on experience designing, building and operating fixed and mobile networks and a wealth of commercial expertise. Smith previously worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Quickline Communications and Programme Director for the 5G Testbeds and Trials programme for the UK Government.
Evangelia (Lia) Tzifa
Lia Tzifa has more than 20 years’ experience in the telecommunication market, mainly in Networks area, driving technology evolution and matching technology capabilities with customer needs. Areas of interest are Network Performance, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.
Lia has been working in Ericsson since July 2000 and currently she is Networks and Managed Services Presales Head for United Kingdom and Ireland. She holds a Diploma and a Ph.D. degree on Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
Chris Pett
Chris Pett is experienced in working with company founders and innovators to grow their business from start-up to scale, focusing on go-to-market strategy, investor-readiness and innovation portfolio management. He works with accelerator and incubator programme leads to create world-class training for startup and scale-up company founders, as well as technology transfer/spinout support for university research commercialisation teams.
