WORLD LEADING BUSINESS SUPPORT
Overview:
Over the last 10 years Innovate UK have provided over £1.8bn to 8,000 companies to develop ideas, develop products and establish market presence.
Grants have a range of benefits: they allow you to take bigger risks in product development, provide access to new markets more quickly, promote supply-chain relationships, provide stability and resource levelling and improving cashflow during the initial investment phases. They don’t dilute equity or weaken IP ownership.
However, competition for grants can be fierce and spending public money comes with constraints, so time, effort and risks are involved.
The workshop will also cover similar EU Horizon2020 opportunities, and the new Innovate UK Loans offer.
Participants:
The workshop is aimed at managers and owners of new and established SME’s who are engaged in innovative product development.
Agenda:
This workshop will cover:
There will be examples of successful grant recipients at SETsquared, and time for participants to discuss their specific technology and product development requirements.
Objectives:
The workshop will allow you to understand whether grants are an option for your business, assess your chances of winning, navigate the application process, and where to go for further help.
