Red7Mobile leads vanguard of SETsquared member companies into Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
Red7Mobile has been welcomed into the prestigious “SETsquared Alumni” group of growing high-tech, high-growth businesses that have been supported by the Bristol SETsquared Centre.
Mobile App Company, Red7, joined the award-winning business incubator in November 2011 as a team of 2 led by serial entrepreneur Matt Hatch and co-founder Adam Fox. The company now employs 10 staff and boasts a client list that includes WHSmith, Paddy Power, Endemol and FunkyPigeon.
Red7 works across a number of sectors including Retail, Sports and Gaming, building award winning mobile apps for a range of smartphones and tablets. The company provides a one-stop-shop for companies looking to build a complete mobile offering for their business.
The Bristol SETsquared Centre now has more than 60 businesses that it is supporting including 16 members within the elite “Alumni” group – SETsquared supported businesses that have exited the Centre and continue exciting growth paths, including XMOS, DigitalTV Labs, TVS, Apitope and Imetrum.
Red7 have moved into the Temple Studios development adjacent to Temple Meads Station, at the heart of Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone. Their office is just a few hundred yards from what will soon become The Engine Shed, the iconic new home, in Brunel’s original railway station, for The Bristol SETsquared Centre and the Local Enterprise Partnership’s new shared inward investment service, ‘Invest in Bristol + Bath”. Red7 join other SETsquared members,
Sponsorcraft and
Enlight Photo who also now reside in the Temple Studios and adjacent Bristol & Exeter House.
Matt Hatch, Founder and CEO of Red7 said, “SETsquared provided the ideal platform for us to set up our new business. We were able to scale the number of staff and grow the business with no concerns about the administration of running our own office. We also took full advantage of the network of professional support services on offer at the centre. Relocating to the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone was the logical next step for the business and the fact that SETsquared will be located nearby is an added bonus.”
Nick Sturge, Centre Director of the SETsquared Centre in Bristol added “Red7 have grown rapidly with us and while they have graduated from our current Centre on the University precinct, it will be great for us to be close to them, and continue to provide support as they grow, from across the yard at Temple Meads.”
