The new in-app integration will empower Sanitas’ 500,000 portal users to take control of their health at home.

Lifelight, an innovative health technology developed by Southampton-based xim Limited, is transforming at-home blood pressure monitoring. Now, as part of a new integration in the Sanitas Portal app, Lifelight allows users to monitor their blood pressure from the comfort of their home without needing traditional equipment like cuffs or wearables.

This zero-contact approach requires only a glance at the mobile device screen for 40 seconds, guided by simple on-screen instructions. Designed for ease of use, Lifelight leverages cutting-edge technology to offer fast and accurate readings, giving users greater control over their cardiovascular health.

Beyond its ease of use, Lifelight addresses a key health concern – cardiovascular disease (CVD) – by providing early insights into a user’s heart health. The Sanitas Portal app’s chronic illness guide complements Lifelight’s offering with the distribution of resources focused on preventing, detecting, and managing CVD through proactive monitoring and timely intervention. This collaboration represents a shift towards preventive healthcare, aiming to help users address potential health issues before they escalate.

This integration also aligns with broader healthcare trends toward remote monitoring and telemedicine, allowing users to check their blood pressure anytime, anywhere.
