WORLD LEADING BUSINESS SUPPORT
Expand your skillset
Improve your employability
Gain industry experience
The Training:
Release your inner intrapreneur and get training and real-world industry experience to set your CV apart from the crowd.
The Intrapreneurial Knowledge Exchange Enterprise Pathway (IKEEP) will give you fully funded training to equip you with the skills to drive innovation and bring fresh thinking to businesses.
In just 8-10 hours you could learn key skills in areas such as business models, critical thinking, effective communication and problem-solving.
The Project:
Once you’ve completed your training, you’ll get the opportunity to apply to take your new skills and help a business solve a challenge or complete a project. You’ll form a mixed team of three undergraduates and postgraduates from different disciplines to tackle a project brief that interests you – whether that’s analysing a business model, crafting a successful marketing campaign or solving a logistics problem.
Projects last up to four weeks, and you’ll join the business on a remote, part-time or flexible basis.
Did we mention that every student who completes an IKEEP business project after the training is given a £500 stipend?
We welcome applications from students across all disciplines on undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research degrees at our partner universities: University of Bath, and University of Surrey.
Find out more about the programme in our IKEEP FAQs for students.
The IKEEP programme is currently only available at the University of Surrey.
Felicia Odumosu and Estrela Antonio from the University of Surrey gained invaluable skills and tuition through their participation in SETSquared’s IKEEP Programme. Watch to learn more about their experience as postgraduates, and how the project aligned their current career path with their newly defined career goals.
Natasha, an International Management student from the University of Bath runs her own sustainable cosmetics businesses which she began during the pandemic. Upon returning to Bath for her final year, she developed an app which identifies the social responsibility of your makeup products. “The IKEEP project has helped me to develop intrapreneurship skills and to become more open-minded. It has also given me a chance to apply my business knowledge to different enterprises. I liked the way training was done at your own pace to discover what the meaning of intrapreneurial was.”
Tabitha Tuwei, MSc student in Medical Bioscience
“I can definitely say it has been an exciting and learning experience for me. I genuinely feel that IKEEP is a great platform created just for students to get a gist of what it is like to work on an actual project. I really appreciate SETsquared Exeter’s efforts for organising such wonderful workshops, and I’ve already referred the programme to few of my classmates.”
Anand Phadtare, MSc student in Business Analytics
“The IKEEP Programme has allowed me to discover that I have strong leadership skills and therefore has influenced me to further develop those skills and look into related roles. Working with NodeWeave, I have gained experience in a high growth sector and used some new programmes. The best part for me was working with people from different degree backgrounds, therefore you get to gain knowledge and understand different perspectives.”
Jenny Jesuthasan, BSc student in Economics
