Christopher Pett
Christopher Pett works with start-ups and scaling companies to support their business growth and investment strategy. He focuses on companies in creative, telecoms and digital technology. Chris has supported hundreds of start-ups wit SETsquared, the Royal Academy of Engineering, Start-up Bootcamp, General Assembly and many other business support and training programmes.
He also supports academics who are commercialising research and development into innovative university spinout companies.
Chris is an Enterprise Expert at the University of Surrey’s business incubator and leads on product development and innovation training for a number of national and international entrepreneurship programmes, including the UK Telecoms Innovation Network and Shott Scale Up Accelerator.
Before working full time as a trainer and mentor to business founders, Chris worked in media and industrial research sectors, founding and building companies from the ground up. He has led research and development projects in creative technologies including film and TV production data products. He has lectured postgraduates on creative technology innovation practice at Goldsmiths, Bournemouth and Kingston universities.
