SETsquared Universities of Bath and Exeter to win two of the Impact Awards 2012
The winners of the 2012 impact awards that celebrate collaborative working and knowledge transfer were announced this month at the PraxisUnico Conference Gala Dinner, at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
The winner of the Business Impact – aspiring award went to Simpleware Ltd/University of Exeter for Simpleware. A company that develops, markets and distributes world-leading software solutions for engineering design and simulation.
The collaborative impact award went to University of Bath and Ford Motor Company for Fuel Efficient, Low Carbon Cars; a twenty-five year collaboration that is now having a huge impact on national CO2emissions resulting from engine improvements in everyday passenger cars.
