Student entrepreneurs from across the SETsquared Partnership will have an opportunity to showcase their business achievements at a special event to celebrate student enterprise on 7th June in Bath.

Entries are now being invited to find the best examples of student start-ups and social enterprise projects from across the five universities of the Partnership – Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey. The winners will be judged by the SETsquared Management Team and announced at the showcase event in June.

The SETsquared Showcase of Student Entrepreneurship will be held at the Holburne Museum in Bath on June 7th. Guests will have an opportunity to meet the students whose entries have been shortlisted and learn more about the winning entries. The guest speaker will be Nick Hynes, CEO of leading mobile marketing agency, Somo, who is himself a very successful entrepreneur.

The awards include the best student and graduate start-ups and the best social enterprise project. In addition, nominations are being sought for student enterprise champions, student business mentor of the year and the best student enterprise experience. The deadline for entries is May 11th. This will be the first time that student entrepreneurs from all the SETsquared partner universities have been brought together to celebrate their activity across the year.

The showcase follows a student pitching competition held at Deloitte in London in March, where students pitched their business plans to a panel of experts for cash prizes.
