About the Programme

Are you based in the UK and developing low-carbon technologies?

Or are you looking for ways to make your business and its products and services more sustainable?

If so, you could benefit from this fully funded specialist business and innovation support to help accelerate your growth.

Delivered by specialists in sustainable technology, small and medium organisations can choose various pathways to receive tailored support to suit their business’ needs.

Our Sustainability Workout, a workshop which has been designed specifically for organisations in a growth phase.

This programme is rooted in the Institute for Sustainability (IfS) at the University of Bath and, depending on your business needs, we can facilitate introductions for you to collaborate with experts from the University of Bath to help develop new sustainable technologies, products or services.

Organisations will also gain access to the programme’s networking events and have the opportunity to undertake further university collaboration and support through our Scale-Up Programme.

Who should apply?

Although this programme is primarily supporting organisations registered/or operating in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, we are warmly welcoming UK organisations from outside the region.

It’s open to companies developing low-carbon or sustainable products and services from all sectors including but not limited to technologies addressing renewable energy, waste to energy, alternative fuels, recycling, water treatment, air pollution, carbon capture and storage, alternative fuel vehicles and building technologies.

Businesses from any sector, looking to make their products and services more sustainable can also apply.

Applicants do not need to be associated with SETsquared’s partner universities in any way.

Sustainability Workout

Our interactive and fast-paced seminar, packed with content and practical exercises to help you develop new strategies for the growth of your company while including sustainability at the core of your business model.

The Sustainability Workout provides specialist, tailored support for organisations considering effective ways to become more sustainable. Programme sessions include: sustainability goals, business model portfolio, peer-to-peer review, benefits of a circular economy, financial innovation and mentoring

Available online over 3-shorter days or face-face over 2-days, the workshop will help you scrutinise your existing business model and look at how your organisation could be a kinder, more sustainable, and more effective version of itself.
