Andy’s first venture Brightpearl was an internet software company based in Bristol & San Francisco. He recently co-founded Accelerated Digital Ventures (ADV), a UK-wide Venture Capital investment company.
Top 3 achievements:
- Brightpearl grew to 120 employees in 3 years, and raised $36m venture capital. Brightpearl customers process more than $3bn of orders with Brightpearl per year.
- ADV brings together seasoned entrepreneurs with the firepower of institutional investors, having raised funding from the British Business Bank, Legal & General and Woodford Investment Management. ADV will initially be deploying £150m into the UK’s digital technology businesses, and aims to invest £200m per year.
- ADV was created by entrepreneurs and operators that invest in digital technology at every stage of the lifecycle. Our team has learned the hard lessons and now want to pay that knowledge forward.
